Our hospital started its activities in 1972 in its building in Burunucu District.
It was put into service as a 50-bed hospital on March 29, 1972. On October 25, 1978, upon the proposal of the institution, the number of beds was increased to 75.
In 1985, the foundation of the additional polyclinic - administrative building was laid, and the number of staff beds was increased to 100 by putting it into service on May 25, 1987.
In 1987, the 1800 m2 area next to the hospital was expropriated and the construction of lodging for the hospital staff began and in 1990 it started to serve as a lodging.
In August 2000, with the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, the Association was established and the construction of the new building was started. It was completed in 2003 and the number of beds increased to 200 on 19.11.2003.
Ünye State Hospital, which was completed in Yüceler Mahallesi and put into service in October 2015, was licensed with 300 beds and started to serve the people of the region.
In 2019, our hospital was upgraded from 300 beds to 330 beds, with the license number 52/0407 of the General Directorate of Health Services of the Ministry of Health.
With the approval of the General Directorate of Public Hospitals of the Ministry of Health, dated 31/03/2020, our hospital was increased from 330 beds to 360 beds and the registration process was carried out.
